The Best Fly Fishing Podcasts

Here’s our list of the best podcast options that are available today:

ask about fly fishing

Ask About Fly Fishing

Roger started Ask About Fly Fishing In March of 2006 and have been posting shows ever since. He now has 322 shows (and counting) in his archive and has interviewed over 225 guests.  Guests range from local guides to authors, to the top names in fly fishing. Ask about fly fishing has covered local and international fisheries, fly fishing techniques, fish species, fly tying, and many other topics. Roger was one of the first to offer podcasts following Zach Mathews by about 30 days.

At the time I don’t think either of us knew the other was venturing down this road.
One difference between this podcast and others is that it is produced and broadcasted live over the Internet. This format allows the audience to send in questions in advance of the show and ask questions during the live show. It gives the audience a chance to interact with each of the guests. All shows are 90 minutes in length so they can really get in-depth on all the topics.
